When we arrived

When we first arrived in Perth we stayed in a beautiful condo right on Scarborough Beach. We had an amazing view of the Indian Ocean and we went and played in the sand everyday!

We actually went to the beach the night we arrived, after our 30+ hour trip. Then a few weeks later we celebrated Owen's 2nd Birthday! And as we started to explore our new location, we were pleased to find that there are an abundance of great parks. One of our favorites is called Kings Park. It is a large park with lots of different play areas and a great view of downtown Perth and the river. And when we started to miss home a little, we headed to good old McDonalds!

Living Down Under

I wanted to start this blog as a little scrapbook of our adventures since we moved to Australia. And hopefully it will be a good way for our friends and family to watch the kids (our sprogs as they would be called in aussie slang) grow.
