The Perth Zoo offers a great program for pre-school age kids that teaches them about the animals in the zoo. Owen loves going. We learn about a different animal each week, by singing about it, making a little craft and then going to visit the animal. Of course being in Australia the first animal we learned about was a snake. Owen had a great time singing and crafting, but when it came to petting the snake he wasn't so sure! Molly on the other hand wasn't bothered but it at all.
